![]() ![]() If I was forced to use a PC.again, I would be extremely depressed as before. ![]() REVIT would be great to use, but not with WIN (at least I have SketchUp Pro). It is simply the most unintuitive, unappealing, uninspiring, absolutely depressing UI. I've worked in Architecture most my life and with CAD since '97 (first computer was sgi O2, then PC by force due to ACAD, and then MAC in 2006, at first with virtual means and then VectorWorks but could not effectively open/edit/save DWG, then back to virtual until a few years ago when ACAD finally supported MAC - again). ![]() But of course Autodesk doesn't support it still and probably never will. I want to switch to REVIT LT from ACAD LT for MAC. Sure, thatĭoesn't say much about my PC at work but still, it's a pretty good solution. Home can run Revit in a VM and it outperforms my PC at work. I wouldn't settle forĪnything else other than full feature parity. I'm not talking about some crippled half attempt. Write all their code twice but I am certain that there is a not anīy the way, I would love to see a native version of Revit for macOS. Running two independent production lines. Operating system has it's quirks and demands and ACAD team most likely are Lots of people cite ArchiCAD as the antithesis of what I have justĭescribed but I am certain that it's not all roses for those guys. Interchangeable with all elements from all other vendors? Probably not. Manufacturers? Would you demand that this be a universal design totally Of such a building system should have designed it in such a way that youĬould substitute any element with any other element from other Would it be reasonable in such a scenario to complain that the manufacturer Will be selected for their ability to interact well with one another as Of standardised elements, most likely for a select group of vendors. Modular building you are going to settle on a certain platform and a bunch You're designing some sort of transportable and highly configurable, Please accept this comment in the best possible way but you don't soundĪllow me to provide you with an analogy form the construction industry. ![]()
